DESCRIPTION:Know of anyone (including yourself) who can volunteer to provide haircuts\, cook and help us spread cheer? Starfish Project has planned an uplifting day at The Beach for local homeless by providing lunch\, haircuts\, and positive support. Starting January\, 2018 the plan is to make this a monthly event. We would love to get as many people involved as we can so mark your calendars and spread the word!!

SUMMARY:Serving a meal/Volunteer Get Together
DESCRIPTION:The second Saturday\, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm Starfish Project and One Hot Soup are coming together to provide a pot luck lunch for our un-homed friends. During that time we also welcome folks to come in\, help with the food\, visit with our un-homed friends and meet other volunteers. This time will be used to learn more about what we do at The Beach\, how folks can get involved and to bring together ideas on things we can do for our community. If you have ideas or help with projects\, this is a perfect opportunity to share.This is open to the public and we encourage you to bring your friends.
