Some specifics:

Outreach Team
We’re always looking for new ways to reach out to our community and beyond with the love of Jesus Christ. For example, we’re planning a mission trip in October to Cookson Hills. That’s a place in Oklahoma that works with children and youth who are at risk. Sandy Stone and Shirley Gillard are our outreach coordinators. See one of them to get involved, or contact the church office.

Grace Cafe
Grace Café is one of our signature ministries in our community. It’s a free dinner that we offer almost every Wednesday of the year from 5-6:30 p.m.  You can volunteer to help by washing dishes, serving, and cleaning. Just show up anytime after 3 p.m. and say, “I want to help.”

Edgerton Food Pantry

The Edgerton Community Food Pantry is in Grace Place. That’s the white house with brick trim that’s just across Hulett Street from the church.

The Food Pantry is open to all residents living within School District 231. You don’t need to prove income or need. Just bring something with your address on it. The pantry is open 10 a.m. to noon on the third Saturday of each month and 6 to 7 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of each month.

Place your food donations in the shopping cart in Fellowship Hall. Contact the church office if you’d like to help sort or bag food.

Bible studies and classes
We offer periodic studies on Thursday evenings. Sundays at 9 a.m. there’s always “The Library Class.”  Chris Kerr leads this class in (where else?) the church library. It’s for all who want to deepen their faith.

Music ministry

Music is an important part of our life together. Our choir rehearses at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays. If you’d like to join in, you’re welcome at any rehearsal. No audition is necessary, just a love of singing praise to the Lord.

We’ve had a bell choir in the recent past, but right now we don’t have quite enough ringers to do it right.  If you’re interested (especially if you have experience), talk to someone in the choir.
