12/16/17 Sporting KC Concession Stand

First, Starfish Project wants to thank you for taking time out of your busy lives to help volunteer for us! You have no idea how much we appreciate it! We are looking for a total of 14 volunteers (8 can be between the ages of 16-21).

Here are the dress requirements and arrival times:

This game will be starting at TBD. Volunteers will need to arrive in the Cerner Parking lot (90) minutes before the game starts. From there they will be bussed over to Children’s Mercy Park and will need to be through the gate no later than (60) minutes before the start of the game. Games are (90) minutes long (as long as it does not go into OT) and clean up should not take any longer than (30) minutes.

As a volunteer, here is what we are asked to do:

The Non-Profit Organization will ensure that all of its Volunteers wear black pants or shorts (where approved) and black shoes (hard toe or sneaker) or other closed in shoe (where approved) with appropriate soles.  Hats and shirts may be provided by Legends at check-in. You may bring your own hat if it is only SOLID BLACK. To the extent provided, all hats and shirts must be returned to Legends at the end of each Event.  Failure to do so will result in a deduction to the Non-Profit Organization of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) or more.  All Volunteers must wear a plain black shirt under the uniform.  Plain long sleeved black shirts may be worn under the uniform shirt in the event of cool weather.  No logo/hooded t-shirts, sweatshirts, blue jeans, athletic wear, shorts, or tanks allowed.  Open toe shoes or sandals are not permitted.  Slip resistant shoes are strongly recommended.  Any Volunteer reporting to the Facility out of proper uniform will not be allowed to work and will not be considered in the count of the minimum number of Volunteers supplied by the Non-Profit Organization until they are in proper uniform.  If the Non-Profit Organization provides less than the minimum number of Volunteers required per this Agreement as a result of a Volunteer not being in uniform, the Non-Profit Organization is subjected to a Twenty-Five Dollar ($25.00) deduction for each Volunteer not in proper uniform.

  1. Non-Profit Organization Volunteers – As instructed by Legends for each Event, must arrive between one hundred twenty (120) minutes to sixty (60) minutes before scheduled gate opening as approved by both parties.

The Non-Profit Organization will be charged $50.00 for each Volunteer who fails to report or who reports to the Facility after the check-in table closes.  Late reporting Volunteers may be sent home and will not be included in the Volunteer count.  Access to the Facility is permitted only to Volunteers who are specifically working in the Non-Profit Organization’s assigned locations.
