Starfish Project is proud of the impact we are making in the community. Here just a few of our milestones this year.
November 2, 2018: We will have our Open House and Fundraiser to roll out the new Arts Program.
This is open to the public and we welcome you to join us. We will have food, door prizes, auctions, art and wine. The fun will begin at 2:00 pm and run until 10:00 pm. It is a casual evening, so feel free to join us when you can.
August 20, 2018: Our first KU Socal Work intern began her practicum at our community center, The Beach.
Please help us welcome our very first intern, Lizette Muna to the team! We are super excited to be working with KU as a practicum site for Liz and future interns.
July 2018: We launched our non-profit incubator.
We will be rolling out (10) programs under our umbrella. If you are a small non-profit, someone looking to start a non-profit or want to be a part of a program that is bigger than yourself, we encourage you to contact us. Programs will be filled by invitation only. Non-profits residing in the incubator will have access to administrative, accounting and tax support, legal advice, work space and process that will keep everyone OMB compliant. The concepts we provide with bring non-profits into the 21 Century!
Earlier this year: Starfish Project partnered with Sand Dollar System Inc and launched our Public/Private venture.
