Bailee’s Closet was created in July 2019 to provide clothing to foster care and abused children, as well as victims of domestic violence. However, the charity evolved to also provide relief to families struck by various crises, such as those affected by disasters, illness, and even the economic challenges resulting from the pandemic. Gently used clothing is donated, laundered, and sorted. Additionally, we coordinate fundraising events, and bargain shop for needed items so we can provide families with new shoes, socks, and underwear, fostering dignity and self-esteem among recipients. Bailee’s Closet was created in honor of Bailee Walk, who tragically passed away in 2017. This profound personal loss became the catalyst for an impactful community gain.
