Early Care and Education

InterServ is committed to providing quality preschool and childcare, as well as offering financial assistance to those parents who cannot afford the full cost of care. Our two facilities, Mitchell Woods and Wesley, offer a preschool curriculum with extended hours. Mitchell Woods provides care for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age, while Wesley offers services for children from ages 2 through 12 years. Southside Youth Program and The Wesley Weightlifters

The InterServ Youth Center (Wesley Center) offers safe and fun After-School and Latch Key programs for elementary, junior and senior high school youth. A part of that Program is an Olympic weightlifting program, Team Wesley, that has produced numerous national champions, United States Olympic Weightlifting Team members and world-class youth who know the value of hard work to achieve their goals in sports and in life.

Emergency Assistance Our Food Pantry serves the hungry five days a week. Rent assistance and utility assistance loans are offered interest free to working families in need. Food Pantry Needs list – xps

The Immigrant Services Program is designed to stabilize and support immigrants by offering citizenship assistance, INS documentation services and mobilizing the faith community to provide acceptance and integration of immigrant families into the community.

InterServ also offers insurance counseling with Medicare/Medicaid, The ACA Healthcare Marketplace and SHOP for small business options.

Volunteer Services & Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

Volunteering keeps people active and involved in the community. At any age, volunteering builds community interaction and self-esteem. Adults and youth are encouraged to share their time and talents in a variety of community service projects to discover the joy of helping others in need.

Helping immigrants and their families obtain legal documentation and support services to become active members of their community.

Senior In-Home Services

Our caring In-Home Services staff provides homemaking services, personal care and advanced personal care services for the elderly and disabled in a four county area. Our Professional Medical Services division offers medication evaluation services to elderly clients and can help determine eligibility for services offered by the State of Missouri.

InterServ is an authorized provider for LifeLine emergency response for Seniors.

Senior Nutrition Program – Mobile Meals

Two Senior Meals Sites offer healthy noon meals for those over 60. In addition to fighting food insecurity and malnutrition we work to relieveloneliness and depression among the elderly.

Mobile Meals The Mobile Meals Program depends on volunteer drivers to deliver hot noon meals to homebound elderly and the disabled who are unable to prepare their own meals.
