KAIROS Memory Cafe’ is a relaxed, social peer engagement program that meets monthly and offers music, art, community service projects for individuals affected by memory loss or related cognitive changes and their care partners for free. The Cafe’ is designed to make people with dementia feel comfortable and successful. For care partners, the Cafe’ is a much needed break and a chance to have fun together without focusing on the disease. Therefore, it is a cost-effective way to support both the person living with dementia and their caregivers. Cafe’s are open to people at any stage of disease progression.
