Starfish Project and Freezing Moo gave back to the Kansas City metro community by handing out free ice cream and bamboo on August 14th at the Overland Park Freezing Moo location. This is a monthly tradition that Freezing Moo has been offering since they opened last year. The date of the free ice cream is only disclosed the day of the event and posted on their Facebook Page.
Starfish Project was there handing out free bamboo to the children and encouraging them to give one to their teachers as a lot of them were starting school this week.
