On Thursday, September 28th the Starfish Project officially opened the doors to their new community center they call “The Beach.” Joni Clark-Moreland, Starfish Project’s founder, says “the beach will be used to reach out to as many nonprofits as we can and find those projects they need help with and bring them in-house.” She also hopes the community center can be a place where nonprofits can have partner planning sessions or even a place you can rent to have an event.

Great caring people , and GREAT cause….Help them to keep it up….
I have never experienced a place that never asked for proof of any identity address, and therefore left me with feeling not judged, and the fact also that I can go there whenever needed has not only made me feel less stressed every month getting through with what already is hard to get by with at this time with everything going on in the world . This place isn’t just a place for food for clothing or for anything specific. you can go there and find anything that you need possibly want without a judgment zone at all whatsoever every time and any time. The people are also wonderful not yet have I came across anyone that made me feel uncomfortable judged or out of place mentally or emotionally. I feel that they need to be rewarded and if they are rewarded rewarded to where they have blessings for themselves as much as they give to other others. I’m forever thankful for them and they have helped. They have helped me more than I could’ve asked for, and let me leave feeling like I’m welcome to come back whenever is needed and that is something I’ve never felt with any church pantry or regular store. And that is a blessing itself these days. I pray God bless all that started this and all who continues it thank you from my family.
