At Inclusion Connections, we are transforming our community one person, one business at a time through advocacy, education, and conversation. We are focused on bringing to light the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities, and working together to improve their lives. Using a model of peer mentorship, we are training the young people of our community to advocate for and serve those in need. As our clients and peers form real friendships, our community will become more inclusive and disability-friendly. Inclusion Connections’ vision is to bring real and lasting change in the hearts and minds of our community.

Community Connections offers impressive year-round programs which are attended by our clients and peer mentors. Programs build self-confidence and improve overall well-being, leading to meaningful employment and options for independent living.

Academy for Employment and Independence – exploring the world, learning new skills and maintaining present skills, leading to more independence

Service Dog Training – caring for and helping train service dogs, giving clients a sense of pride, compassion and helpfulness

PawsAbilities is a “hands-on” element of our employment program, offering young adults the opportunity to develop and practice job skills. These skills include baking, packaging, marketing and distributing dog treats and toys. We are working intensively with post-graduate individuals who market our products to local pet stores, businesses, and other pet-related organizations such as rescues and trainers. This program is a natural fit with our clients’ passion for animals and our Service Dog Training Program, and provides translatable skills and job training leading to future independent living.
